Windows Vista, MMC konnte das Snap-In für die Ereignisanzeige nicht erstellen

Ich habe ein Problem, bei dem ein Windows Vista-Computer bestimmte Anwendungen nicht ausführt (iTunes, Quickbooks, Word). Internet Explorer funktioniert gut. Anscheinend gibt jedes Programm, das eine Authentifizierung benötigt, einen Fehler aus. Ich kann Event Viewer aufgrund der obigen Fehlermeldung nicht ausführen.

In Adobe Acrobat heißt es

[Window Title] C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe  [Content] C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe  The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail. [OK]

In Microsoft Word heißt es 

[Window Title] C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\WINWORD.EXE  [Content] This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.  [OK]

AVG sagt 

[Window Title] C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG9\avgui.exe  [Content] C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG9\avgui.exe  The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.   [OK]

Irgendwelche Ideen?

Interessanterweise wird vom IE Folgendes ausgegeben, wenn ich Javascript eingebe: alert (navigator.userAgent) Folgendes wird ausgegeben ... Hmm. hast du zufällig etwas "reinigen" im winsxs-ordner gemacht? Ich habe das einmal ausprobiert ... ja, es ruiniert alles. Neuinstallieren von Apps hilft nicht, man muss den Chef ziemlich neu aufbauen. Grizly vor 14 Jahren 0
