xrandr --scale funktioniert nicht mit DisplayLink

Die Option --scale von xrandr funktioniert auf meiner DisplayLink-Anzeige nicht. Der Bildschirm flackert und geht wieder an, aber die Skala ändert sich nicht. Kann jemand anderes dieses Problem mit seiner eigenen Hardware bestätigen / dementieren? Vermutlich wäre dies ein Fehler mit dem DisplayLink-Treiber? Ich habe eine Kensington SD3000v.
