Warum bindet gdb an eine feste Version von autoconf?

Edit 1 : Ich versuche, gdb aus dem Quellcode zu erstellen.

Warum kann ich nicht autoconf 2.65 anstelle von 2.64 verwenden? Es ist verwirrend:(
