Ein Freund von mir las alle seine E-Mails mit dem Eichhörnchen-Webmail-Client und möchte nun mit outlook arbeiten.
Das Problem ist, dass bei der Konfiguration des Clients mit imap keine der vorhandenen E-Mails auf dem Server in Outlook heruntergeladen wird. Gibt es eine Option oder etwas, die wir überprüfen müssen, um alle alten E-Mails herunterladen zu können?
Der Hauptzweck des Herunterladens aller Nachrichten vom Webmail-Konto ist der spätere Export aller E-Mail-Adressen.

I have found that creating a pop3 connection to the server i was able to download all the current messages to outlook. now i can export all the data needed. It is recommended to use IMAP to sync email but for my main purpose of downloading all the emails i had to use pop3.
Update: keep in mind that only the headers will be download, you need to tell outlook to download complete item including attachments.
