Welches 10m USB-Verlängerungskabel kann ich für ein USB-Display verwenden?

Beim Lenovo LT1421 handelt es sich um einen 14-Zoll-Monitor, der über ein USB B-Mini-zu-USB-A-Kabel angeschlossen werden kann. Es wird mit einem 1,8 Meter langen Kabel geliefert, das für meinen Zweck zu kurz ist.

USB ist auf 5 Meter beschränkt, es gibt jedoch "aktive" USB-Kabel, die das Signal verstärken. Reichen solche Kabel für DisplayLink-Geräte wie diesen Lenovo Monitor aus oder funktionieren sie nur für Tastaturen? Sollte ich stattdessen andere Kabel oder Geräte in Betracht ziehen?

Das mitgelieferte Kabel ist übrigens ein USB-Kabel. Für eine ausreichende Stromversorgung muss ich wahrscheinlich ein USB-Ladegerät anschließen. Ich bin immer noch interessiert, ob das wirklich notwendig ist. Die Hauptsorge ist jedoch eine hohe Signalübertragung (Verlust / Korruption / Latenz). Lekensteyn vor 10 Jahren 0

Plugable claims that their 10M USB extension cable works with DisplayLink USB displays (emphasize mine):

Connect USB printers, scanners, displays, keyboards, etc from across the room with this 10 meter / 32 foot USB 2.0 extension cable. Active repeater (bus powered single port hub) and a premium shielded cable enables this unit to have 2x the length of a standard USB cable. The tradeoff, however, is devices with precise timing requirements (isoch devices, usually USB video cameras) will not work with this cable. Will work with nearly all other devices: devices such as printers, scanners, DisplayLink USB displays, keyboards, mice, and most miscellaneous USB devices.

I am unable to verify their claim, nor do I know whether it this cable can be connected with the existing USB-A/USB-B mini connector.
