Ich habe vor kurzem Probleme mit der Wiedergabe von MP4-Dateien auf meiner Xbox 1. Bei jedem Versuch erhalte ich nur die Meldung "Fehler beim Abrufen der Medieninformationen vom Medienserver".
Ich habe den üblichen Trick versucht, den WMP-Netzwerkdienst und den UPNP-Gerätedienst mehrmals neu zu starten, ohne Erfolg. Ich bekomme IMMER das gleiche Problem.

FWIW, ich hatte das gleiche Problem, als ich heute versuchte, einige auf meinem Windows 7-PC gespeicherte .mp4-Dateien auf meinem LG Smart TV abzuspielen.
Ich habe sie in .avi umbenannt und sie haben dann ganz gut gespielt. Ich habe sie dann wieder in .mp4 umbenannt und sie spielen jetzt auch gut.
und als ob durch Magie .. Ich stolpere fast sofort nach dem Posting dieses Problems auf einen "Workaround"! Das Umbenennen der .mp4-Dateien in .avi scheint das Problem zu beheben, dass die Dateien nicht abgespielt werden können. (nicht wirklich!)
Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Suchen nicht unterstützt wird, aber ich kann damit leben, bis eine bessere Antwort gefunden werden kann!
