Warum stürzt Automator beim Start ab?

Ich bin auf ein seltsames Problem gestoßen, als Automtor.app auf Snow Leopard beim Start abstürzt. Irgendwann in der Vergangenheit habe ich eine Kopie von iPhoto.app in mein öffentliches Verzeichnis gestellt, um sie auf einen anderen Rechner zu kopieren. Jetzt wird Automator.app nicht ausgeführt, es sei denn, mein öffentliches Verzeichnis enthält eine Kopie von iPhoto.app. Wenn ich es entferne, stürzt Automator.app beim Start ab.

Folgendes passiert:

1. Starten Sie Automator.app
2. Nachdem die Automator-Menüleiste angezeigt wird, aber bevor Fenster angezeigt werden, erhalte ich den gefürchteten Wasserball für einige Sekunden
3. Automator stürzt ab

Ich habe versucht, meine Automator.app-Voreinstellungsdatei und das Verzeichnis für den Anwendungssupport zu löschen, damit iPhoto.app im systemweiten Anwendungsverzeichnis gesucht wird, dies jedoch ohne Erfolg. Irgendwelche Vorschläge, wie ich es schaffen kann, dass alles normal funktioniert?
