Wie kann ich ein .pages-Dokument nur mit einem iPad wiederherstellen?

Ich hatte dieses Problem vor ein paar Stunden und war wirklich frustriert, also dachte ich, ich würde es teilen:

Szenario:

  • Mein Computer mit Pages ist gestorben
  • Ich habe eine Pages-Datei auf einem Flash-Laufwerk, die ich jetzt brauche
  • Ich möchte das Dokument nicht aus einer Nur-Text-Version neu formatieren
  • Ich habe ein iPad mit Pages
  • Ich kann meine Datei nicht per E-Mail an mein iPad senden, da Pages-Dateien wirklich Ordner sind

Wie kann ich meine Datei wiederherstellen?

To recover the file:

  1. Use Winrar (or another archive utility) to zip the document into a ZIP archive.
  2. Email the ZIP archive to yourself.
  3. Download the document onto your iPad, which will unzip the file and present it as a Pages file, retaining all formatting.
