ProFTPd-Server schlägt fehl, Verzeichnisliste zu senden

Ich hoste einen FTP-Server mit proftpd unter Cygwin / Windows 7. Leider funktioniert es nicht, da sich Benutzer anmelden können, aber das Verzeichnis nicht anzeigen können. Cygwin-Benutzer haben mir versichert, dass es sich um ein Softwareproblem handelt und nicht um ein Cygwin-Problem, obwohl ich keine Ahnung habe, wo ich das Problem finden kann?

Apache funktioniert beim Hosten der Dateien einwandfrei und Google hilft mir nicht viel bei der Suche nach der Ursache.
